CVs are your first introduction to the work place, internship opportunity, scholarship, etc. The one-day program will assist participants in how effectively to present themselves through CV writing.  Tell Us About Yourself! Do you want to impress the interviewer or the interviewing panel? The one day program will help you to present your best on the day of the interview. The program will discuss what to wear, how to set the RIGHT first impression, and get the position you applied to. The program is for ages 15 – 24. The program will include hands on activities with a focus on:

The one-day program will help you to assess your innovative ideas and find the way to how to make them happen in the business world. Create your own business with a solid foundation for success. The program is for youth ages 18 – 29.

·         Frame your innovation in terms of the business problem being solved
·         Build a financial model that is defendable
·         Pinpoint the sustainable competitive advantage that makes your idea distinct
·         Pitch a compelling value proposition to a business partner or customer

Powerful Presentations 
The 2-day program will assist participant to explore how to construct powerful presentations to ensure effective communication with the audience and reach highest impact. Participants will have the opportunity to present twice during the module. Participants’ first presentation will also be video-taped to use for group reflections and ability of each participant to create a developmental plan for future practice and follow up. No age limit in this program.

·         Creating an opening that will capture audience attention
·         The five-step process for preparing a powerful presentation
·         Effective techniques to add variety, interest, and emphasis
·         Discussing the power of visual, verbal, and vocal skills
·         Encouraging audience participation and managing difficult questions and audience members
